Senior Pastor - Jonathan Cook
Pastor Jon was raised in a Christian home and came to know Christ as his Savior during family devotions at the age of seven. He attended and graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College and upon completion moved to San Jose CA where he met and married his wife Patti. They were married in 2002 at the church where he was serving as the part time assistant pastor. In 2005 Pastor Jon began to attend Cornerstone Seminary in Vallejo, CA. During his first year at the seminary Gracie, there oldest daughter, was born! Pastor Jon graduated from Cornerstone Seminary in 2008, the same year he accepted the position of youth pastor in Los Gatos, CA. He served as youth pastor from January of 2008 until August of 2015. During this time his daughters Anna and Isabelle were born. Pastor Jon began his ministry here at Grace Baptist Church in August of 2015.
Youth Pastor - Andrew Hawley
Andrew grew up in the Redding area and has been involved in the ministry of Grace Baptist Church since 2005. He trusted Jesus Christ as Savior as a youth and enjoyed the blessing of a Christian home with 5 other siblings. In 1992 His Father began Basic Laboratory which serves the Water and Soil testing needs of the Redding community. In 2012 Andrew married his wife Jamie, and now have a son William, and are expecting the arrival of a baby girl in May. Andrew has been serving Grace Baptist Church as Youth Pastor since 2013 while continuing his education locally at Shasta Bible College. Together, Andrew and his wife live in Millville California.
Office Manager - Valorie Page
Valorie greatly enjoys working and serving here at Grace Baptist Church, where she has attended since early childhood. She has been involved in various ministries at Grace over the years, and especially enjoys music – singing, playing the piano, and directing children’s and ladies’ ensembles. She and her husband, Rodger, live in Cottonwood with their two children, Laurie and Luke – both busy college students. Valorie loves spending time with her family, playing games, camping, being at the lake, or relaxing with a good book when time allows.
