Extended Preschool
Service
Purpose: Allows preschool children time with family in the first half of the
morning church service.
Children, ages four and five, are dismissed for the remaining half of the
service to participate in singing, Bible story and an activity.
Family Activities
Purpose: To provide fun activities for children and families, focusing on
wholesome fun and Biblical truths of God's creation and His goodness.
Spring Activity
This outdoor activity emphasizes the beauty of God's creation. This may include
a fossil hunt, visiting a farm, a hike in the mountains or just fun exploring
God's world in someone's backyard.
Fall Activity
This indoor/outdoor activity emphasizes God's creation
in the fall season and thankfulness to Him for His blessings to us. This harvest
theme may include a sing-a-long, fun with puppets, picking apples, game booths
and guests speakers.
Music
Purpose: To teach children another way to communicate
praise to God and give them opportunity to encourage others by singing.
Since children love to sing, there are many opportunities
for them to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord". Singing in church,
special seasonal programs, Family Gathering, family Christmas caroling and
special kids music groups are all ways for children to begin singing at a
young age. Special practices are announced throughout the year.
Vacation Bible School

One week during the summer is set aside for an opportunity
to host an exciting and meaningful Bible program for children. Children are
encouraged to invite unsaved friends to hear the gospel, and taught to grow
in their own spiritual life.
During the summer a five-day Bible school is held for ages 4 years through
those entering 6th grade. This outreach includes Bible stories, activities,
games, crafts and refreshments, all with a special Bible theme. The children
enjoy learning in a creative way with children their own age.
