Dear Friends - greetings to all of you from the state of Maine. :-) After a
long and multifaceted trip, we arrived here this past weekend after crossing
the country by car. This is what we'll probably call home for the balance of
our time here in the US.

The trip was great! Oh, there was the minor matter of stopping 7 times from
California to here to have the car worked on. Some were as minor as an oil
change; others were for serious repairs. Once we even had to be towed in
from the middle of nowhere in western South Dakota. But the good side was
that there was a signal for the cell phone we had just bought, and AAA found
us with no trouble. :-) The repair shop that pulled us in and worked on us
was named "Heavenly Repairs". :-) We had a good time with them while they
worked on the car.

However, none of that is the reason for this note. When we left Colombia
last December, you may have had our email address as follows:

Wrsmith6@multiphone.net.co

For over five months now that has been an invalid address, but we weren't
able to install our address list in the computer that had been loaned to us
in order to let you know. If you've written to us since about Feb. 2004 at
that address and we've not responded, we probably never received it. :-(
Anything you sent us from the 23rd of June 'til July 9 even at the ntm.org
or charter.net addresses was probably also lost. If you've any desire to
stay in touch with us, please change our address to the following:

Wayne_Smith@ntm.org

If a different address appears at the head of this letter, do NOT change to
that one. It too will be only temporary. However, the ntm.org address
follows us anywhere we go. Please use it to be safe.

Trust you're well!

MISSIONARIES FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE - WAYNE & BECKY SMITH

1 - We're grateful for a very special time here in Redding with both our blood and our blood-bought families. We can't let ourselves think too much about that time drawing to a close or we'll cry! No matter how many times we do it, it is never easy to leave home again. It's been a wonderful time, but we look forward to the day of no more good-byes!

2 - From June 7 to early July, we'll be on the road the whole time. Appreciate your prayer for safety on the road and sensitivity to the Spirit's leading. We don't have meetings scheduled during that time - the main idea is just to get our entire family from California to Maine while attending what we call Refresher Course at NTM's main center in Missouri. But every day we'll be meeting people along the way. "Lord, help us to see them through Your eyes and not our own."

3 - From August through the end of the year we'll be on a pretty constant schedule of meetings at supporting churches. The request is the same, tho' - that the Father help us to see people through His eyes, whether in church or out, and minister to them accordingly.

4 - The main objective of that time is to report to those who've stood behind us through these years serving the Father in this ministry.

5 - Re money, the Father provides our needs - and often our wants! - so this is not a complaint, but we would like to see our support level go up. That is not an area either of us likes to bring up. It is too easy for my ugly old heart to get mixed up in it! But it is a fact of life, so we'd appreciate your prayer both for contentment and for provision in the Father's way and time.

6 - We still don't know where we'll be living in Maine.

7 - Pray for our Nukak team in Colombia. The work has been hard and long - years!. The language is HARD and the opposition has been fierce on the part of the Enemy. He's not yielded that terrain without a fight. Right now two of the key couples, Johan & Lida Aguillon, and Suso & Helga Rodriguez, are separated. The men are out in the jungle (in guerrilla territory) while their wives are in the city. But even in the city it's not easy; Lida is pregnant and has malaria at the same time so she can't take the powerful medicines you would normally treat that with. Pray for strength and healing and the Father would put a hedge of protection around that team.

Are there needs? Sure. But we've been blessed beyond measure as well, and are grateful! Thank you for standing both behind, and with, us. We're ... One with you both in and for the KING!
